Overwhelmed in the Process?

There are lots of reasons why you could be feeling overwhelmed in the sea of white. Let's take a step back, take a deep breath, try to walk through what could be stressing you out, and how we can fix it.
Issue #1- Too Many Options
I completely understand having wedding dress "FOMO," but trying on more dresses will only make you more overwhelmed. I compare it to finding your fiancée. There are 132 million single men in the United States. Sure, you found one that you love, but what if there's someone better out there? Doesn't that sound silly? If you find a dress that you love, that makes you feel comfortable and bridal and happy, STOP SEARCHING! Smaller boutiques often carry the same name-brand dresses as larger shops. This is me giving you permission to say "Yes" at the first shop you go to.
Issue #2- Too Many Opinions
I'm going to hold your hand when I tell you this- this is your wedding. This is your dress. This is your day. The opinions outside of yours don't matter. It is almost impossible to make Mom, Granny, Best Friend, Cousin, Mother-in-Law, and your aunt's next door neighbor happy at the same time. So here is what we are going to do: we are going to prioritize YOU. At the end of the day, everyone will still be crying at how beautiful you look when you have your hair and makeup done and the dress fitted perfectly and the veil and the flowers and all the things on your wedding day.
Issue #3- Too Much Money
A wedding dress is the most expensive dress you'll ever wear (probably). We get it. Most boutiques offer payment plans, have off-the-rack sale dresses, or will work within your budget easily. If a salon is pulling things vastly out of budget, that's a red flag on the salon and you shouldn't feel bad about it. Working within a realistic budget is totally doable and should be a conversation easily had with your stylist.
If it's not one of the three most common issues, your feelings are still valid and I strongly recommend talking to your bridal stylist because this should be a fun experience, not a stressful one.
