Bridal & Formal Attire

My name is Denise Addis, owner of Avian Bridal and Casablanca Designs, to say I love everything about weddings is an understatement! Whether I am helping a bride find the dress she has been dreaming of her whole life or creating floral arrangements to make the couple’s special day magical, weddings to me bring together two people on an adventurous journey where I get to play a small role in this majestic day of their lives.

I am the wife of a hunter/fisherman and aunt to six of the greatest blessings of my life. I have been in the wedding industry for over 20 years and my passion for flowers led me to learn the art of floral design in high school and college working at our local flower shop, Eleanor’s Flowers. During this time, I have had the opportunity to be a wedding coordinator, event planner, and floral designer, and thanks to my friend and business partner, Samantha Beers-Boyington, owner of Cardamom Bake Shop, a cake deliverer and cake decorator (not my best talent).

The road to Avian Bridal came about from an episode of say “Yes to the Dress,” and a dream that I could bring the New York experience to our hometown. As a native of Oconee County, I realized we had no formal wear shops in our local hometown, and I thought I could create a fashion house for bridal and prom that would give our brides and young ladies the opportunity to have an exclusive personalized, glamourous experience with fashionable, modern designer collections. Whether we are hosting a bride, her friends and family or a young lady picking out her first prom dress, we want to give each of them a memory they will cherish for a lifetime while they are here at Avian Bridal.

I am immensely proud, extremely blessed, and honored to share in this momentous occasion of life with our brides and young ladies and my hope is they will find the perfect dress that makes them feel beautiful.
